The new year just started and most of people's resolutions are to get healthy or to stay healthy. Here are some tips that may help you stay on track.
1. EXERCISE: Exercise is a big part of staying healthy. Some people don't exercise, but still think they'll lose weight. It's been said that you must exercise at least one hour everyday just to stay at the weight you are now. So, if you are healthy as you are now and fine with the weight you are then an hour is fine, but if you want to loose weight and get healthy you might want to exercise at least an hour and a half each day. When exercising do something that you enjoy to do. If you do something that you think is boring and a pain then you probably won't stick to your resolution for very long. If you enjoy swimming for instance, then join the nearest aquatics center.
2. EAT HEALTHY: Eating healthy is also a big thing that stops people from getting healthy. People might think that if they exercise for an hour and then go eat lots of fatty food then they'll still lose weight, but the problem is that you can't do that. If you want to lose weight and/or be healthy then you should eat healthier foods too. If you're one of those people that just likes to eat to eat, then when you eat you should try to eat fruits. They say that it's healthier to eat five to six snacks a day then to eat three meals. You should never go a day without eating. If you take in less than a 1,000 calories then you can actually gain weight because your body has to hold on to the fat longer. Now I'm not saying that you have to eat healthy 24/7. You should have one night that you go out to dinner and eat what you want. You should treat yourself once a week for staying on track with your resolution.
3. BE HAPPY: When you're sad do you eat more? Most people when they're sad they eat more because they don't know what to do and food may make them feel better. If you feel good then you'll stick to your resolution. You should always try to be happy.
These are my tips to being healthy. I hope they help you!
